Our Story
My dream began at home. My grandmother was a seamstress, and from an early age I was surrounded by the world of making clothes. I still remember spending hours in her little workshop, fascinated by the sound of the sewing machine and the piles of fabric waiting to be transformed.
When I was a child, I had a Barbie doll, and my favorite thing was to use leftover fabrics from my grandmother’s shop to design new outfits for her. My grandmother would guide me patiently, teaching me how to sketch, cut, and sew. I always gravitated toward simple and clean fabrics, creating classic styles that I instinctively knew could be paired with anything. From that young age, I understood that timeless clothes carry a kind of quiet magic — they make life feel effortless.
My mother was an art writer. She taught me to observe the delicate beauty of plants and guided me through art lessons centered on nature. Those moments shaped me profoundly and gave me a lifelong love for everything connected to the natural world. Maybe the dream of starting my own clothing brand was planted like a seed during one hot summer, quietly growing in the heart of a little girl.
Before Making Thinking came to life, I already knew what mattered most to me: creating pieces that feel good to wear, designed with intention, made from fabrics that last, and always considering sustainability. To me, a truly good garment is one that is classic, versatile, and enduring.
But it’s not only about the clothes. From the beginning, we have cared deeply about ethical production and about the people who help bring our vision to life. Building a brand in an environment of ease, kindness, and respect is our foundation — and today, I am grateful to say we are doing exactly that.
Making Thinking is a safe space for imagination — a place where making and thinking come together, where nature’s inspiration is woven into every piece, and where you can find the perfect wardrobe to express yourself. It is a world filled with kindness, respect, and care.
Because of you, my dream has come true. And I hope that in Making Thinking, you will find the confidence and inspiration to chase your own dreams — wearing pieces that carry with them the calm, beauty, and freedom of nature.
With love,
Jun 💚
